Turns out this week I did not have much time for art making. I did play around in Photoshop and learned how to make fake streams of light by using radial blurring. I went back to some of my panoramic photographs to insert the radial blurs, but ultimately feel it looks too fake.
I also cleaned up my Photo Library and found a bunch of images I took with the intention of making Panoramic images with. I only made one (of Topsail Island). I also started constructing an armature for my anatomical heart sculpture and started painting into my first Typographic Portrait of my dog. The background never printed well, and I actually like how it looks with the paint. Finally, I started a Typographic Font Bot based on the font American Typewriter. I am not sure if I like how it is coming out. I may need to start over with a thicker font.
This week I finished my Zentangle example (not pictured) for Studio Art 1 and created a lot of Panoramic Images in Photoshop for Digital Art 1. I also went back to a project I started a while back with abstracting images I shoot in the car wash and edited a few random images I found when cleaning up files on my computer (the Blue Ridge Mountains and the sink faucet). Finally, I set my Canon to f1.8 and captured some shots of these glass bottles I have on my window sill, with car lights running through them.
