After having to tear off my good version print, because it was bubbling up and looked terrible, I ordered two more of the same print and planned to repaint it this weekend. However, when I brought the new prints home, the print shop used a different printer and they were not the right color. They are going to print new ones for me (again) but I have to wait for them. I decided to practice paint the two desaturated versions anyway, and cut down one of them to practice attaching it to the board and to practice screwing into the work. I also had a baby version (only 12x12") and I wanted to hammer brads into it.
Some spontaneous moments in the studio were using the leftover paint on my palette to make a circle print, and photographing my paintbrushes on my bathroom sink. I also worked on the grad school checklist and prepared for my final Artist-Teacher visit on Monday.
